about me & the blog
Hello there! My name is Palace and I'm the voice behind this blog. I made this blog for two reasons (mainly). One, to create a portfolio of my writing to present to potential employers. And two, to find a way to document these pivotal years in my adult life, my twenties. Being twenty years old, I learned that it's about time for me to start growing up, and rebranding who I am to the world.
I plan to cover my academic journey as I tour graduate school programs and work towards both my undergraduate and graduate collegiate degrees. I'll discuss how I manage to keep a 3.3 GPA as a double major and a student leader. I'll cover my dating life (or the lack thereof) and how I find a way to mess up every single opportunity to shoot my shot. But overall, you will see how I grow as a person, and hopefully, you will grow with me too.
As a twenty-something mass communications and english double majoring procrastinating student that wants to be a professor and the next Oprah, I invite you to come along with me on this journey and see the world through my eyes.
